This is a slow-growing outdoor evergreen, a perfectly cone-shaped bush of dense, compact habit with leaves of a bright grass green. They are relatively low maintenance plants to care for.

Because of its small size and slow growth, it works well in foundation plantings. In cold winter areas, choose a northern or eastern exposure to reduce the chance of winter burn due to drying winter winds and afternoon sun.

Location

Prefers full sun but can tolerate some shade.

Temperature

Keep outside all year and doesn’t require any special treatment.

Watering

This plant needs well-drained soil. Water when soil becomes dry.

Pruning

A slow grower that needs little pruning. Removed any damaged branches.

Repotting

Check the plant to see if it needs repotting every 2-4 years.

Feeding

A small amount of diluted fertiliser at the beginning of the growing season will help growth. Too much can lead to rapid growth which can make the tree weak and prone to disease.

Please Note: The picture is for guidance only. It is not generally possible to send the tree in the picture. Please note that measurements given are approximate not exact. Measurements given are from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree, the pot colour may also vary from the picture. Due to their nature trees grow and whilst in our care may need pruning, this means the tree that you receive may differ in size to that given in the description. The appearance of the tree may vary depending on the season.
