* To avoid misunderstanding - Please Note - We do not dispatch any orders over the weekend or on Bank Holidays - unless you have opted for a special Saturday delivery. Any orders placed after 12 midday Friday will be dispatched on Monday.

- Orders received during the weekday are sent out the next working day i.e. Mondays - Fridays.

- UK Offshore Delivery - Please Note we do not send trees or bonsai accessories outside of Great Britain. So no EU or USA orders please. We do however send Books world wide.

- If you aren't able to be home for delivery you can designate a safe place for the items to be left (at your own risk)

- Please check that the delivery is in good condition before signing. If you cannot be in when goods arrive, please leave instructions as to where the parcel can be lef (if you designate a safe place it is at your own risk)

- All UK deliveries are sent out 'DPD Next Day' - i.e. Next working day which is Monday-Friday. We do not guarantee next day delivery as this depends on weather and road conditions etc; - however 99% of deliveries are next day.

- We do not pack or dispatch any orders on Weekends, or Bank Holidays.

- The delivery date you select cannot be guaranteed as this is dependent on weather and road conditions. We will however do our best to deliver the order. There is no refund of shipping costs if the item doesn't arrive on the chosen date.

- Our parcels are packed in strong double-walled cardboard boxes and sent by reputable couriers. 

- If you would like a Saturday delivery there is an extra charge. We do not deliver Sundays.

Refunds & Returns

- If you order online you are entitled to cancel your order within 14 working days of receipt of the goods, the goods must then be returned to us within 14 days and in the original condition. 

- Because bonsai are live plants and therefore perishable if not cared for correctly, they are exampt from the consumer contracts regulations which came into force on the 13th June 2014. Please note that we aren't able to refund, replace or accept the return of a bonsai after 7 days after receipt.

- Any refunds will be minus the cost of shipping.

- The cost of returning the goods will be borne by the customer and not by Herons. 

- If goods are received in a damaged condition you must state that on the delivery note and inform the nursery immediately by sending a photo to [email protected]

- Goods damaged in transit i.e. a smashed pot will either be refunded or replaced, a photo must emailed to [email protected] before a replacement can be sent.

- Please ensure that you have ordered the right items before accepting the terms and conditions of the transaction.
