Pepper Bonsai Trees

Selection of Pepper Bonsai Trees by Herons Bonsai

This is quite an easy species to grow, but they prefer a cool room. They will shed their leaves in Winter, but by Feb or March, new leaves will quickly appear. They sometimes flower in warm Summers - little red mimosa type flowers. They have scented aromatic leaves. The Pepper tree is a most unusual Indoor bonsai. A recent introduction, it is easy to keep although it does shed its leaves in winter. The leaves are aromatic, deep glossy green in the summer and turns to gold in the autumn. It is the actual species that is used for producing Schechwan pepper corns. They have tiny red flowers from June to September
