Mica Bonsai pots are virtually unbreakable and incredibly durable.  A great alternative ti ceramic and plastic pots and there’s no need to worry about chips or cracks (these pots don’t crack)

Good at heat retention which keep the roots of your bonsai a bit warmer in the winter Mica is also good at repulsing heat in the summer. They are high quality and they are frost proof.

These are fantastic as outdoor pots.

40.5 x 233 x 9.5cm

Mica Bonsai pots are made of around 80% mica, 15% polyethylene and 5% graphite & are virtually unbreakable. Good at heat retention which keep the roots of your bonsai a bit warmer in the winter Mica is also good at repulsing heat in the summer. They are high quality and they are frost proof.

They come in one colour which is a very dark brown. These are very good outdoor pots. 

Please note: The way these pots are manufactured may mean that there are white scuff marks and imperfections apparent. The colour of the pot may vary slightly from the photograph. All measurements are outside edge to outside edge (not internal dimension)

Bonsai Workshops and Classes run by Herons Bonsai
We have been running our bonsai classes and workshops at Herons for over thirty years where they have been the source of inspiration for many bonsai enthusiasts. Currently we run a number of different workshops by Peter Chan or a Herons Team Member. 
 
What is a Workshop?
All our workshops are hands on sessions for all abilities, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You can learn many aspects of bonsai in this class. 

These workshops book up fast so please do book if you would like to attend.

We do have a waiting list that you are welcome to join by emailing [email protected] letting us know how many places you are looking to book, please accompany this with your contact number, this means we can call if we get a late cancellation.

If you are looking for a 1-2-1 class with Peter Chan he can normally offer a 2 hour time slot on a Monday or Tuesday morning starting at 11am finishing at 1pm. 

You can also book a 1-2-1 with one of our experienced Herons Team Member should you wish.
