Stunning Japanese White Beech Bonsai Tree. Stands approximately 45-50cm tall and in a plastic pot.

This outdoor, deciduous tree will grow in semi-shade or full sun. However they will become scorched if in direct sunlight during the heat of the day or in hot winds. Shelter if possible. 

Water well if in a pot and protect from prolonged periods of frost. 

Main growth spurt for the beech is Spring, to improve ramification it is important to punch out the growth at the tip. After the first of second league emerges. Hard pruning is best carried out in late-winter or mid summer.

We have been running our bonsai classes and workshops at Herons for over thirty years where they have been the source of inspiration for many bonsai enthusiasts. Currently we run a number of different workshops by Peter Chan or a Herons Team Member. 
 
What is a Workshop?
All our workshops are hands on sessions for all abilities, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You can learn many aspects of bonsai in this class. 

These workshops book up fast so please do book if you would like to attend.

We do have a waiting list that you are welcome to join by emailing [email protected] letting us know how many places you are looking to book, please accompany this with your contact number, this means we can call if we get a late cancellation.

If you are looking for a 1-2-1 class with Peter Chan he can normally offer a 2 hour time slot on a Monday or Tuesday morning starting at 11am finishing at 1pm. 

You can also book a 1-2-1 with one of our experienced Herons Team Member should you wish.
