Grafting is a form of propogation taking 'the scion wood' from an exisitng tree and fusing it onto a branch or trunk of another tree or 'rootstock'. In bonsai, grafting can be used for a mulitude of reasons, to add roots to enhance Nebari, add a missing branch to a tree or to cultivate a new tree. It takes skill to graft but it is worth experimenting with this techcnique (on inexpensive material at first).

To help in your journey Herons have put togeher this grafting kit to help you make successful grafts.

Bundle includes;-
Grafting Knife: This knife is an ideal gift. It is designed for carving, cutting and grafting. It can also be used for pruning branches or cutting flowers. Has a foldable Ergonomic handle.

Japanese Grafting Tape: High quality grafting tape that gives a good amount of strech to allow the trunk to swell.

Carlsmate Sealing Paste; Carlsmate sealing paste 100 gr. for bonsai. Fluid paste in a tube which helps to facilitate the healing of wounds caused by pruning. This paste, due to its soft consistency, serves to prevent wounds from becoming infected, and aids healing, ensuring that wounds close quickly.
