Acer or Japanese Maple is a popular plant and this particular variety is a lovely decorative plant. It owes its decorative nature to its fresh, pinkish-white growing tips, which later turn variegated white then green.

This tree should be kept outside all year round. It is deciduous so will shed its leaves in winter and it is great as a bonsai. Soil must be kept damp. Will tolerate sun or semi shade. Note that if in full sun the leaves may become scorched.

If there are long periods of freezing temperatures you can protect the tree under the canopy of another tree, bubble wrap the pot or move to an unheated greenhouse.

Please Note: The picture is for guidance only. It is not generally possible to send the tree in the picture. Please note that measurements given are approximate not exact. Measurements given are from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree. Due to their nature trees grow and whilst in our care may need pruning, this means the tree that you receive may differ in size to that given in the description. The appearance of the tree may vary depending on the season.
