Picea Abies 'Nidiformis' also known as the Norway Spruce is a dwarf, spreading, outdoor evergreen shrub that has branches of green, short needles. This tree is easy to grow and easy to care for.

Location

It's a slow grower that performs best in sunny garden spots and like well drained, evenly moist soil.

Temperature

Like full sun when growing and should be protected when frost is expected.

Watering

Water when soil gets dry but don’t keep the root ball wet all the time.

Pruning

Prune any long branches in spring taking care not to slice through the needles as they will turn brown.

Repotting

Repot your tree when it needs it. Possibly every 3-4 years.

Feeding

Feed with a solid feed every four weeks or liquid feed every week during the growing season. Always read the label.

Please Note: The picture is for guidance only. It is not generally possible to send the tree in the picture. Please note that measurements given are approximate not exact. Measurements given are from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree, the pot colour may also vary from the picture. Due to their nature trees grow and whilst in our care may need pruning, this means the tree that you receive may differ in size to that given in the description. The appearance of the tree may vary depending on the season.
