This Japanese Maple 'Koto Hime' (meaning small harp) Japanese Maple is a great tree for shohin (small) bonsai due to it tightly packed foliage.
The leaves are generally light green with a serrated edge, they may require more pruning due to the density of their habitat. Check to see if the tree needs to be thinned out each year.
Prefers partial shade and will even tolerate full shade. In Autumn the leaves will change colour to yellow/ orange.
