Chaenomeless japonica is an Outdoor, deciduous shrub. This variety has white flowers. The flowers can attract birds, bees and butterflies. Quince fruit is usually too bard to eat raw and so is usually made into jellies.
After spring blossoming is over you can prune the shoots and remove and dead branches. Do not prune whilst flowering.
Never allow to dry out completely.
