Highest Quality - Heat treated, Triple line Akadama- from Iwamoto

Choose from two grades:
- standard 3-6mm
- large 6-11mm

This is the highest quality Premium Akadama that you can get - Triple Line extra hard Akadama. Has greater structural integrity and is more resistant to disintegration.
Lasts 3+ years longer than double line and is ideal for preventing root suffocation in established bonsai. That is why this is regarded as high premium product.

Made in Ibaraki, Japan.

We have been running our bonsai classes and workshops at Herons for over thirty years where they have been the source of inspiration for many bonsai enthusiasts. Currently we run a number of different workshops by Peter Chan or a Herons Team Member. 
 
What is a Workshop?
All our workshops are hands on sessions for all abilities, ranging from beginner to advanced levels. You can learn many aspects of bonsai in this class. 

These workshops book up fast so please do book if you would like to attend.

We do have a waiting list that you are welcome to join by emailing [email protected] letting us know how many places you are looking to book, please accompany this with your contact number, this means we can call if we get a late cancellation.

If you are looking for a 1-2-1 class with Peter Chan he can normally offer a 2 hour time slot on a Monday or Tuesday morning starting at 11am finishing at 1pm. 

You can also book a 1-2-1 with one of our experienced Herons Team Member should you wish.
