This is one of our Specimen Chinese Quince which is looking very nice in Spring.
It is just about to flower. It has beautiful pink blossom followed by the lareg pear shaped fruit which last through the winter. Notice the lovely bark which is typical of this species, and the massive trunk. We have a couple more with trunks twice as thick!!

These Quinces were imported many years ago from Japan They are now extremely rare,
