This is one of Peter's specimen Weeping Willows from his own collection.
It is not the ordinary White Willow, but the Red Japanese variety which has much finer branches and leaves.
This is an old tree - it has a crusty old trunk, but the tree is as vigorous as ever.
It is 56cm x 11cm dia trunk.
Willow is not often seen as bonsai, so this is a rare specimen.
