The Double Red Line Brand of Akadama is the most popular of all the Akadamas. It is used by both hobbyists and professionals as it is convenient and clean to handle, and has just one uniform grain size of about 5mm. It can be used neat or mixed with bark or sand depending on the species and climatic conditions. In Japan, it is used for both deciduous and evergreen trees. If you have never used it, do give it a try. You will be surprised how well your bonsai will respond to it. Our own bonsai mix has Akadama added to it. Sorry - we have now sold out for the year. |
