Until a few years ago, the 'Hybrid' branch cutter was hardly known outside Japan. This wonderful tool is a cross between the ordinary side branch cutter and the fully concave or 'Wen' cutter. Hence it is sometimes also referred to as the 'Concave Cutter with Round Edge'. Because of its novel design, this tool combines the functions of the side branch cutter and the Wen cutter.
