Zelkova Broom
The Japanese Grey Bark Elm or Zelkova Serrata is usually trained in the classic Broom style.
Very difficult to train well as it takes a long time to create.
These Zelkovas are from Japan and are at least twenty years old. They have always been grown and trained in pots - hence the delicacy of the twig structure. It has what is called 'good ramification'.
These trees are 42cm high x 2cm dia trunk and come in a shallow brown oval ceramic pot.
Excellent value at £195 considering their age and how difficult they are to produce.
Here they are in their autumn colour.
