Japanese White Beech
The Japanese White Beech or Fagus crenata, is no ordinary tree. Its stunning white bark makes it distinctive among the many deciduous species. It is interesting both in summer and in winter. The leaves are smaller than those of the European beech and slightly pointed at the tips.
They are grown mostly in the formal upright style like this one.
We have many of these on the nursery - each tree measures
70cm tall (overall height including the pot) and trunk dia is 7cm. This is a large tree.
It comes in a nice brown ceramic pot 37cm long.
We have now sold all these, but will be putting pics of other white beech that we have left.
